Lagavulin Distillery 
Take a tour of the distillery, see our distillers at work and view the unusual pear shaped stills. Peated malt, slow distillation and long maturation together ensure Lagavulin develops a complex, rich, peaty character. Lagavulin is a spirit which likes to take its time.
ALL masterclasses, Warehouse demonstrations and untenanted cask demonstrations are FULL at Lagavulin and Caol Ila.
There are still spaces available on some of our distillery tours. Many thanks to all who have been in touch - we look forward to seeing you in May.

Closed due to training:
Due to training on Tuesday 13th, Wednesday 14th and Thursday 15th April our opening times are as follows:

We will reopen on Friday 16th April at 0900-1700 with tours at 0930,1115,1430 and 1545.
We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause. 

Tour times:
Tour costs £6 and includes a complimentary Lagavulin tour glass and entry to Caol Ila distillery. Weekdays:
January - April: 
Mon-Fri 0900-1230 with a tour at 0930 and 1115
April - October:
Mon – Fri 0900-1700 with tours at 0930, 1115, 1430 and 1545
July - August:
Mon-Fri 0900-1900 with tours at 0930,1115,1430, 1545 and 1715
November - December:
Mon-Fri 0900-1230 with a tour at 0930 and 1115 Saturdays:
April - June:
0900-1230 with tours at 0930 and 1115
June – October:
0900-1700 with tours at 0930,1115,1430 and 1545 Sundays:
July to August:
1230-1630 with tours at 1300 and 1430 Warehouse Demonstrations
Tuesday and Thursday at 1030
Demonstration costs £15 and includes a complimentary Lagavulin whisky glass and free entry to the 0930 Distillery Tour prior to the Warehouse Demonstration. Lagavulin to sponsor Islay Jazz Festival
Diageo has announced today that its iconic Islay Single Malt Scotch Whisky Lagavulin™ is sponsoring this year’s Islay Jazz Festival.
 
The Islay Jazz Festival is a well-established annual event that takes place over a weekend in September, attracting hundreds of jazz lovers to Islay from Scotland, the rest of the United Kingdom, and overseas.
 
The event will now be known as the Lagavulin Islay Jazz Festival. The dates of this year’s Festival are 17 – 19 September.
