A guided tour of the Distillery, Filling Store and Warehouse, followed by a dram of the Royal Lochnagar 12 Year Old and Royal Lochnagar Distillery Only Bottling, 48% and from European oak casks, and limited run of 1800 bottles.

Ideal for the seasoned distillery visitor, this unique experience covers the process of maturation and gives you the opportunity to draw samples straight from the cask in our warehouse, which you can savour and enjoy during a tutored tasting. A welcoming cup of coffee and homemade shortbread in the Distillery Library where you will learn the history of the distillery, followed by an in-depth tour explaining how we make our whisky, hosted by one of our knowledgeable members of staff. After the tour there will be a very special tasting of Royal Lochnagar as well as a specially selected rare whisky.
This exclusive Royal Tour takes place from Monday to Friday at 10.30am and 2pm, and Saturdays 10.30am. Booking in advance is essential, minimum 2 people, so please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org or the visitor centre on 013397 42700.
Booking for groups of over 8 is advisable prior to any visit.
For health & safety reasons, children under 8 years old are not permitted in the production areas of the distillery.
Disabled persons including those with guide dogs and other assistance dogs are welcome at our 12 distillery visitor centres.
We will make reasonable adjustments to the distillery visitor tour that we offer at each visitor centre to ensure that disabled persons including those with guide dogs or other assistance dogs have a positive visitor experience and, above all else, remain safe.
The unique layout of each distillery location and visitor centre means that the reasonable adjustments we make at each distillery may vary.
If you are a guide dog assisted person we ask you to book your visit in advance highlighting your specific requirements so that we can endeavour to deliver a positive visitor experience.
